Olivia Isabel Rodrigo was born February 20, 2003. She is an American actor, singer, and producer. Her first recognition came from her roles as a lead actress in Disney's TV shows Bizaardvark, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series in the latter half of 2010, and she continues to be a Disney TV star today. Rodrigo's first single, "Drivers License", was released by Interscope Records and Geffen in 2020. It broke many records and was one of the most-sold songs of 2021. It helped propel her to mainstream success. It was followed by singles "Deja Vu", "Good 4 U" and "Good 4 U" before she released her first solo album, Sour (2021), that received both critical and commercial success and was awarded three Grammy Awards. The documentary Olivia Rodrigo - Driving Home 2 U on Disney+, which chronicles the process of creating Sour and was released in 2022. Rodrigo is an Billboard Hot 100 singles number-one, one Billboard 200 album number-one, and has five multi-Platinum certificates from the Recording Industry Association of America. Other than other accolades, she has won an American Music Award seven Billboard Music Awards as well four MTV Video Music Awards. Time named Rodrigo one of the 2021 Entertainers of the Year, while Billboard named the woman the 2022 Woman of the Year. Olivia Isabel Rodrigo is the daughter of Jennifer Rodrigo (school teacher) and Chris Rodrigo (family therapist). She was born in Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta on February 20, 2003. She grew up and grew up in neighboring Temecula. [7] Rodrigo is Filipino American. Her father is Filipino while her mother has German and Irish ancestry.
