Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on December 19th, 1986. The Canadian native was employed by Hollywood's film industry on a range of projects. Her most notable role is Alexis Rose, a CBC TV sitcom called Schitt's Creek. The show began in 2015 and ended the year 2020. The show was critically praised for her performance and was awarded an Emmy Award. Primetime Emmy Award. She was born Ottawa Ontario Canada. Both her parents were teachers. After graduating of Concordia University with a theatre degree, she then joined the Canadian Film Centre's Actor's Conservatory. Annie Murphy launched her acting career in 2007 with the crime thriller television film Lethal Obsession. The actress continued to act and performed small and extra roles in various films. A few of them are cult like Story of Jen which was first released in 2008. Lick which was released in 2010, and another hit A Windigo Tale which was made available in the same year.
