Simone Biles
Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) She was regarded as the best athlete in sport. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became one of the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender ever to win 4 gold medals. Biles also took home the world title for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro area. Her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone began to be interested in the sport of gymnastics when she was only six years old. Her coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them for a field trip. Biles was awarded silver and gold medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault before her debut in 2011 at the top division of competition. Less than two years later she dominated the sport. Biles was notable by her consistent performance, her enthusiastic attitude as well as the amount of effort she introduced in each event--vault, uneven bars as well as balance beams and ground exercises.
