Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. She was born in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd July 1971. She and LeAnnekymes were among the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer-songwriter and bluegrass country musician. Her birth date was July 23, 1971. She entered the music industry at an early age having won local competitions at the age of 10, and recording for the first time when she was 14 years old. In 1985, she joined Rounder Records and in 1987 released her debut solo album. She was asked to join the band with whom she performs Alison Krauss and Union Station and later released her first album in the group in the year 1989.
